Pitch Lake Labs Inc. (the “Company”, “we” or “us”) makes I’m Not Hungry, an app that helps you decide what to eat. This Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have.
This Policy applies to:
- The I’m Not Hungry mobile apps for iOS and Android (the “App”);
- Our website at imnothungry.app (the “Website”); and
- The servers and services that power them (together with the App and the Website, the “Services”).

Information you give us
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. If you sign up with email, we also store your password in a securely hashed form; we never see or store it in plain text.
If you choose Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Apple or Google. If you use Apple’s “Hide My Email” option, we receive a private relay address instead of your real one. We do not receive your Apple or Google password.
Preferences and saved content
To give you better suggestions, we store what you tell us in the App:
- Your answers to the onboarding questions;
- Your food and cuisine preferences;
- Your saved default location (an address and its map coordinates), if you set one;
- Your saved search filters and favorite restaurants.
Surveys and messages
If you answer one of our surveys, we store your answers and, if you provide it, your email address. If you email us, including to join our launch waitlist or ask for support, we keep your email address and the contents of your message so we can reply.
We do not ask for or collect your date of birth or age.
Information collected automatically
Location
With your permission, the App uses your device’s precise and approximate location to find restaurants near you. You can decline or turn off location access at any time in your device settings and enter an address instead. When the App searches an area, the coordinates of that area are sent to our servers and, if needed, to our restaurant data providers (see Who we share information with).
Usage analytics
When you use the App, we record events about how it’s used, such as screens viewed and features used. Each event includes a random device identifier, your account identifier if you’re signed in, your device platform and operating system version, and your IP address. We use this to understand which features work and to improve the App.
Crash reports and diagnostics
If the App or our servers run into an error, we collect a diagnostic report. Reports can include your device model, operating system, App version, IP address, account identifier and the steps that led to the problem. For a small share of sessions, and for sessions where an error happens, we also record a session replay: a reconstruction of the screens you saw, so we can reproduce the problem.
Advertising identifier
The App shows ads. If you allow it, the App and our advertising partner use your device’s advertising identifier (the IDFA on iOS or the Advertising ID on Android) to show more relevant ads and measure how they perform. See Advertising for how to control this.
Cookies on the Website
The Website uses a small number of cookies needed for it to work, such as remembering your progress through a survey. The Website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
How we use your information
Why we collect it
We use the information described above to:
- Create and manage your account and sign you in;
- Suggest restaurants near you that match your preferences;
- Send you account emails, such as email verification and password resets;
- Reply to your messages and, if you asked, tell you when the App launches;
- Understand how the Services are used and improve them;
- Find and fix bugs and keep the Services secure;
- Show ads that help keep the App free;
- Comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Advertising
Ads in the App
The App shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your advertising identifier, IP address, approximate location derived from your IP address, and information about your device and how you interact with ads.
Where required, for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the App asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown. On iOS, the App asks for permission to track you through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before your advertising identifier is used. If you decline, you’ll still see ads, but they won’t be personalized.
You can change these choices at any time: on iOS under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and on Android under Settings → Privacy → Ads (or Google → Ads on some devices).
The Website does not show ads.
